Antony Gormley Talk

On 4 October 2010 Antony Gormley, the English sculptor most famous for the Angel of the North and the life size sculptures in Event Horizon, came to talk about his new book ”One and Other’ at Wimbledon College of Art as part of the annual Wimbledon Book Festival. This clip captures the talk in it’s entirety.

The book ‘One and Other’ documents the project of the same name and saw 100 days of human occupation of the fourth plinth in Trafalgar Square.

MOVING IMAGE SOUTH : Launch Event   MONDAY 13TH SEPTEMBER 6.30PM

hmvcurzon Wimbledon and Wimbledon College of Art have formed an exciting new colloboration to create a hub for artists moving image and avant garde cinema in SW19.  Graduating MA students have created a series of short films specifically for this event, to be premiered alongside a specially selected artist’s film FIASKO by photographer/film maker Janet Riedel.
